Aerosmith is one of America’s greatest bands. Formed in 1969 by singer Steven Tyler and guitarist Joe Perry, the group has been together for over 30 years and continues to record high quality rock and roll. Their first album, entitled Aerosmith, was released in 1973 and included one of their greatest songs. “Dream On” is thought of by many people as one of the best songs in history, and it still plays regularly on radio stations across the United States.
Nedra is an Aerosmith fan. Listen to her talk to Chad about her interest in the group.

Nedra:  Chad what kind of music do you like to listen to?

Chad:  Well it’s kind of changed over the years. I kind of like smooth rock and roll. Not too hard, not to soft. No Bee Gees but, no AC/DC.

Nedra:  Do you like Aerosmith by chance?

Chad:  Um, yeah some of his songs are pretty catchy.

Nedra:  “Love in an Elevator?”

Chad:  Yeah that one’s got some neat lyrics to it.

Nedra:  My favorite song’s “Dream On” and do you know why?

Chad:  Why?

Nedra:  Because his voice is so crisp and clear and he’s just wailing on those, on the riffs with the guitar.

Chad:  Wow. I haven’t heard, I haven’t heard that song.

Nedra:  Mabye I’ll download it and let you listen to it and you can see the difference.

Chad:  Cool!
