My school

   I'm neglectful of my englishbaby blog.  Blog is a good way to practice our writing in English.  But, Iive neglected to come here because I've been too busy with Facebook.   I have little time left to even surf the internet.   Honestly, I missed so many thngs in the internet because of Facebook.   Always,there's new feed from friends and relatives even from my grandchildren.

 It's Sunday evening as I write this.  I still don't have idea what to write except to admit that I am neglectful of my blog here.  My eyes are now heavy and have to quit the computer to get ready to rest for the evening.   But, my gosh, I still want to stay on!  I even want to go to the chat room to meet some friends whom I also neglected to chat with for sometime.  I'm even thinking if they can still remember me.

This site is a good place to find good friends to write to and to chat with at the chat room.   And, I found that we are all English learners.   Each country has its own unique intonation that sometimes you know for sure where they are from.

 The Chinese members are learning English well and fast.  They're quick learners.  And, I just wonder why there are so many Turks chatters at the chat rooms.  Anyway,I enjoy good friendship with many nationalities.

 The weather temperature today here is hot.  Incredibly hot this afternoon as I pressed clothes.  My perspiration is tricling down from my forehead, and even entered my eyes and felt blinded.  Suddenly, there was a light rain, and the temperature somewhat cool down.

 Okay, I think I have to close this now.   I wish I have someone to remind me to come here often and not neglect this blogging anymore.   This is very useful to practice our English writing.   And wish there is an audio room to speak with other members so that our English speaking will hasten.

 Please do send me a comment on this blog.   This is mix-mix or random - I mean no planned idea to write about.  

 And, by the way, can someone tell me how to enlarge the font here?   The font is too small for my aging eyesight.   Thank you.

I decided to post my plant orchid as my profile photo because you may not like my picture.   I'm not photogenic, that's why.

My photo was my plant orchid.  I raised orchids at home.  At this time, one has new flower. 

 Orchids are my favorite flower.  They are sturdy and look good in a flower base and put inside the house.  I always have plants in the house.   Good source of oxygen.

 I have purple orchid, white and dark violet orchids.   However, I also have  bongainvillea - all are blooming beautifully.   Summer is almost near and these plants give profuse flowers.  I have pink, pink and white, and red, also newly acquired bongainvillea is color orange.   

Maybe when we become friends, I can send a picture of myself.

 I thank all my dear friends here.  I hope we can be friends for a long, long time.  I welcome friends - young and old.   For the purpose of improving our knowledge of English language.   Also, want to exchange opionions on some topics.

"Are you running?"   this is the popular jocose words here in my country.  This question is jocularly asked because of the coming 2010 presidential elections.   There are some who already implied their intention to run for the highest national position in the land.

 "Are you running?"   I was asked a week ago.   I answered, "Yes, I am".   But, not in the coming 2010 election.   I am running for the 7 kilometers marathon in support of the "Save and Protect the Biak-na-Bato" - a historical place in my province.  This is a worthy cause I'm supporting.   It is about protecting and saving the historical place from the unscrupulous mining of natural resources of the Biakna-Bato.  

 However, Sunday, September 13 came and I was unable to run.  It rained heavily the night before and early morning of Sunday.  I thought, it's not good to run in the rain!   I might get sick.  

 My purpose for running is for the health benefit and to stay fit.  But, most of all, for fun.  But, it won't be fun to run and get soak in the rain!   Also, the streets are muddy and slippery.   So, I thought, it's not wise to run when it rains heavily.

Actually, I don't run, just jog and brisk walk.  I joined for the fun of it.  Not really to win the race.  And, I lose by default.  I didn't run, that's why. Because of the heavy rain.
