Where has gone the one dollar?

My wife solved this in twenty seconds but still now, even if she explained it me twice, I haven’t uderstood anything!
help me please..
3 FRIENDS ATE 3 PIZZAS IN A PIZZERIA,
THE ENTIRE AMOUNT WAS 25 DOLLARS,
THEY GAVE EACH ONE 10 DOLLARS,
THE OWNER OF THE PIZZERIA GAVE BACK 5 DOLLAR,
THEY DECIDED TO SHARE 1 DOLLAR FOR EACH ONE OF THEM AND GIVE THE 2 MORE DOLLAR TO THE WITER..
so, coming back,
9+9+9=27 (total sum they all payed)
+
2 (money given to the witer)
= 29
where is the 1 dollar?

The counter count one more dolar. One pizza must be 8 dollars, but not 8.3333 dollar.

Or someone's pizza is 9 dollars. 8+8+9=25 25+3+2=30

no, I don't get anything.

If I and other two payed each pizza 10,00 dollars, we had back each one dollar, we payed 9,00 dollars, so

9,00×3 = 18

the weiter got 2,00 dollars

total 29,00

where is the one??

Your math is bad and tricky. Cool

"3 FRIENDS ATE 3 PIZZAS IN A PIZZERIA,
THE ENTIRE AMOUNT WAS 25 DOLLARS,
THEY GAVE EACH ONE 10 DOLLARS,
THE OWNER OF THE PIZZERIA GAVE BACK 5 DOLLAR,
THEY DECIDED TO SHARE 1 DOLLAR FOR EACH ONE OF THEM AND GIVE THE 2 MORE DOLLAR TO THE WITER..
so, coming back,..."

(10+10+10=30)-5 =25 – money they paid (holding $5)

5-2=3 – the remainder minus the tip gave each the one dollar "they shared"

25+2 = 27 – their cost including tip

27/3=9 – each paid

Try this one:

One is not equal to 1. I have proof!

33.33% +  33.33% + 33.33% = 99.99% Right?

1/3 = 33.33% Correct?

2/3 = 66.66%  Correct?

3/3 = 99.99%  Correct?

Wrong!  3/3 = 1  and…

99.99% of anything is not equal to 1!

I begin admitting that when at school I took 7 / 8 in other subjects, I had 2 in math! it's the true, I swear it!

anyway, I believe to have understand (perhaps).

the dollar disaeppeared is in those 5 dollars given back, in the sense that I have to count in the other way around rather the way I chose, is it right??
