Isn't that strange that we're always making plans that we don't even care to accomplish? I'm always telling myself I should go abroad a practice my english, but I never brought myself to do anything about it. I don't even have a passport! So I started to wonder, what if I stop saying myself I can't do that and give it a try? Well, come to think of it, I've spent so much money in the last few years that I probably would be able to travel the whole Europe if I had saved it all. Why is it that we're always telling ourselves we can't do something?

It reminds me a character from the book "The Alchemist" from a great brazilian author, Paulo Coelho. This character, a Shopkeeper, is a person who is afraid of following his dreams and then he became a very sad person. The fact is that he was perfectly able to fulfill his dream if he intended to, but he never did. He was afraid to take the risks. It's not a sad story though, it's a very nice book and I highly recommend it!

Anyway, I think that all that talking about believing in yourself, having faith and everything must have some truth in it. Maybe I should try to be more confident, take some risks, make some mistakes. After all, that's what life is about, isn't it?

Hey, hello you!

I didn't know English Baby had a blog function, hehe. I guess I'm gonna start posting here, just whatever comes to my mind.

Well, since I've just recently watched the Avengers movie, I'm gonna talk about it.

Yes, the movie is AWESOME. It's better than I expected in every way possible. Being a fan of the Incredible Hulk, I was a little upset about having Mark Ruffalo playing Bruce Banner, but he did a great job. His character has a unique personality, and the Hulk performs some of the best scenes in the movie! They also did a very good job on making all characters shine and having an important role.

The only problem I see in this movie is Captain America. He looks so weak compared to the other heroes, and he almost doesn't do anything besides giving orders and posing. He has some good fighting scenes, no doubt about it, but they are just a few. Even Black Widow and Hawkeye are more heroic than him. Which is a pity. I really liked Captian America's movie and I expected more from him in the Avengers movie.

But nonetheless its an awesome movie! I've already watched it twice, and I'm really considering watching it the third time!
