matter用法

It doesn't matter this time.  这次没有关系

matter在这里做动词，意为 要紧。如：

It matters very little.  不要紧，丝毫没关系。

It doesn't matter who will do it.  谁干这事都无关紧要。

matter同时也可作名词，意为 事情，问题。

I can't carry the heavy box.  我搬不动这个重箱子。

No matter. Let me help you.  没关系，我来帮你。
