Want to improve your language? Do this!!

Hm.. that was quite a clever title because we all wanna enhance our English since we’re spending time on this website.. And you know what? Although I’m a guy, I’ll give it a  shot…

I am going to try to write daily diary.

i have never taught about writing as something can improve my language ,, thank you so much 4 the advice ^_

For one thing,thanks for your kindly guide and sharing with your story,of course,this method is very important and useful for imporving our english,my colleagues and my friend have got great progress with this way,even though i can not writing and speaking english well,but i completely agree with your advise,below is my story,before,some one just tell me,only insist to hear some english materials even though you don’t understand what the video said in this period,just insist it’s enough,but some time later,i found that it’s really not fast way to impove,after that,i found if you want to improve your english fast,whatever write or speak,you have to write more first,some time later,you will be difference with before maybe u just not found,some days,if you have chance talk about with foreigner,you suddently can blurt out many sentense which you often written,and that ,write a long article it’s become easy for you ,not hard anymore,because your vocabulary also added so much when you practise written.just my point of view,everyone who have some good idear or advise can sharing with us,let’s get progress and success together.

i appreciate ur method of improving english

in fact i try to write every thing in English .. if i write something at my work or something i want remember to do it , i write all in English .. this is really nice idea .. good luck for all :)

I started writting something similar to diary a few months ago. I thought  in that way i could improve my language skills. At the beginning I thought that it was silly. Plus I couldn’t force myself to do it regularly. But i am sure that it’s working. I am glad to read this. Because now i will start writting again. This will be my motivation.

ya.after I read some adviceds for wrting how  to become better in writing, I think I will I ussually feel that I am not good in this subject and I afraid of writing because  my grammar not good

i want to improve my fluency in english…so what do i have to do

One of the best ways to enhance your vocabulary skills is to read more. Become a voracious reader by reading everything you can get your hands on. And then put them to use. The more you use them the faster you grasp. The most fun filled way to improve your vocabulary is to play word games. So You learn while you are playing.
Also I found this great vocabulary site. Check it out www.vocabularybuilding.org.Very helpful

This is a succesful way to improve your writing ..but the best way to improve your speech is to stand in front of the mirror and begin to speak to your self in a loud voice believe me it ll make aBIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG diffrence

I agree with because I had same experience but not exactly this one. I tried to speak with myself for improving my language, and these days I was thinking about a program same your suggestion. I guess it works.

A good idea. I seldom write diary, because of a lot of reasons. I often do this on my blog, that's more convenience and safetier (you know, many parents read their children's diary in order to understand their lives and souls, but don't mention what their children think about this action). But I will try your idea to improve my skills of grammar and vocabulary. Thank U!

yeah, that's a great way to practise English, I agree with you! I've been doing that for several years. Just force myself to write somethin' in my diary, not everyday but as often as I can. Bcoz I don't usually use English in my daily life, but I love English so much, so got to do somethin' to improve it. When I read back at the old story I wrote, I always smile and laugh to myself coz there are so much awkward sentences due to my poor English….However, I think it does work!! so just give it a try guys! ^^
