The most stand out audition of the show was that of 47 year old Susan Boyle.

Susan first appeared with Ant and Dec declaring that she is a single woman who lives with her cat. Not only has she never been married but she also admitted that she had never even been kissed.

Susan looked like your typical batty old aunt, gold dress and all and when she walked on to stage you could just feel the scorn of the audience. Simon Cowell didnt look too hopeful when Susan said she wanted to be a professional singer like Elaine Paige and when she said she would be singing I Dreamed a Dream from Les Miserables.

But then Susan sang and the amazement of the crowd was clear. It was the type of audition that makes the hair stand up on the back of your neck and the tears well in your eyes,

it certainly had that effect on Amanda Holden. Piers Morgan called the performance stunning and Simon told Susan she was a little tiger. She seemed a bit baffled by the description.

Britain's Got Talent 2009 kicked off on April 11 and there will be seven audition shows on consecutive Saturdays before a week of nightly shows so fans can pick two finalists who will battle it out on May 30 2009.

It's strange, Hakimi. These two variants sound absolutely different. But I certainly prefer Susan Boyle's one.

The real beauty is always hidden, isn't it? I was also moved to tears.

How difficult it is to break stereotypes sometimes, and Susan Bounce is a vivid example of the idea that people first look at the clothes and appearance, and only after it try to see the personality.

As far as I understood, it was recorded ten years ago in 1999. It is strange that nobody has paid attention to her talant since then: she has an incredible voice.

I am impressed by her inner energy and her self-confidence: the audience is laughing at her but she just pays no attention to them as if she were above them all! A wonderful woman! I admire her!

It seems that her beautiful inside and her funny appearance contradict one another. I believe that you can keep such a voice only in  case of never been kissed;)
