Recently, I saw many people use chat out of its main, some people chat only to get on people's nervous, I've seen somebody used Palestinian refugee as a nickname ,although he is not from Palestine, he said bad things about Arab and muslims, just to see them angry and then what, no-ending fights, I saw also someone insulted black people, and the last thing is sex talk, it is a habit to see  a memeber using nicknames like hot dick, fuucker….the list is long. the problem is where is the ADMINISTRATER?!!, for me as a result, I'll never chat again.

Yeah, I've had some bad experiences in the chat room, I don't think ebaby can really afford to keep a moderator that watches the room all the time. You would think though that the could set up a "robot" to automatically censor foul language, but you can always just spell it differently, like "fuuk" or something, it's still the same meaning…

There are a few things I'd like to see changed – for instance, being able to post our email addresses would be nice. It would be nice to able to edit the HTML in our posts if we wanted to.

I agree with you guys, Ebaby chat is not an useful tool to learn english. Maybe it´s better know people in the forums, check for interesting persons and later arrange a meeting by another source like yahoomsn or hotmail msn.

I've met a couple of really wonderful people in the chat room, but that was in private chat mostly.

I sometimes stay at an apartment that has a parrot in the lobby. I though it owuld be funny to teach the parrot to say the name of a Dutch airplane maker… Fokker  :)

And no, I didn't do it… somethings are more amusing to think of than to actually do :)

Hi "Can I Cry",

There are stupid people everywhere… not just in chat.  You shouldn't have to endure such mean people, but we all do. There is an English saying "like water off a duck's back". It means to let it go, or don't let it stick to you. There are even more nice people than mean people, but we tend to remember the bad more than the good. The happiest people make a point of focusing on the good things!

Aljensen, yes, it will be better to change somethings.

Saw, ebabychat with this down level of talks is not useful.

Oh so you're telling me the new friends I met through chat don't even have good memories of it now… ouchLaughing  Just joking.

In my experience, most of the people are lurking and not saying anything at all. It isn't evil becoming the rule, just a few with the loudest voices. We could all agree to meet in a chatroom at a specific time and gang up on the bad ones Smile Well, we probably have better things to do and the times zones are an issue.

Most people do not insult Turkish, Arab, and Islam, but the vocal minority may make it seem that way.

Still, these discussions are an alternate way to meet people and work quite well too. Nice to meet you Sweetq4u!

I guess after almost 8 years of having bush as our president, the chat rooms seem like really open minded,  friendly places to me Laughing
