There are a lot of resources to help you with your pronunciation. First, try to listen to English news and radio over the internet (www.npr.org or www.kcrw) are two of my favorites.
To improve your pronunciation, check out these sites:
http://fonetiks.org/
http://www.manythings.org/pp/
http://iteslj.org/links/ESL/Pronunciation/
Good luck.

Yes,pronunciation is important in oral English. You’d better make sure what kind of pronunciation you prefer before the study.Generally there’re two kinds in English,General American and Received Pronunciation.Personally i think GA is vivid and lively, more likely to be used in female or the youth, while RP is more gentle, not a bad option for offical affiars.
PS:Never try hard!

I teach for a British school and the students always say my accent (American) is refreshing. They say it is easier to understand. In any case, you should be aware of different accents, not just American or British, but the accents of other English speaking countries as well as non-English speaking countries. Expose yourself to good British and American models of English, but remember that you will also have to communicate with people who have learned English as a foreign language. Hope this is helpful, :-)

Hello :)
-panglossian :Thanks , I will try to do even if it seems to be hard :(
-FlyingCat and ummahzy: So that means , I have to know types of pronounciation then choose one , and maybe it is better to learn the pronounciation in a school because I can’t do that myself !
thanks all !

Here are some more resources. For examples of American pronunciation of words, try: http://www.m-w.com/   http://www.m-w.com/help/audiofaq.htm

For guidance on British English pronunciation, use the following link. Unfortunately, the word entries do not have an audio guide; only phonetic symbols are being used. http://dictionary.cambridge.org/ http://dictionary.cambridge.org/help/phonetics.htm http://dictionary.cambridge.org/define.asp?dict=CALD&key=9178&ph=on
