Can anyone tell me if the song titled “Yellow” by Cold Play has meanings other than just colour tone?

Yellow is a derogatory term for Asiatic race. A lot of these gangster rappers don’t like Asians and they always talk nasty about Asian immigrants.

Yellow can suggest a couple of things.

1. Sickness/nausea.
2. Cowardice.

In in the old Wild West days, saying to someone, “Are ya’ yellow?” meant: “Are you a coward? Are you afraid?”

Not sure about the song. From the tone of the music and lyrics, I’d guess he’s suggesting loneliness or longing.
