In China,there is a wall that is two thousand four hundred kilometers long.It is called the Great Wall of China.It winds up-hill and down,throngh valleys and mountains.Every bit of this two thousand four hundred kilometers wall was built by hand.
The Great Wall of China was built many,many years ago.The people of China made it to keep out their enemies.There are watchtowers all along the way.The wall is built of bricks and earth.It is high and wide on the top.People can walk along the top as if it were a road.
It is said that it took ten years to build just one part of this wall.No other defense line has ever been made as long as the Great Wall of China.
