As you said, you are also good at drawing, please draw a picture for me. ” And then, a bonze gave him a brush and an ink stone.

The abbot said,” My most favor tastes tea. Especially, I like some beautiful tea set, would you please draw a teacup and a teapot? ”

The young man said,” What an easy thing! ”. And then, he draw a beautiful teacup and a teapot soon and said,” What do you think about it?”

The abbot shook his head,” The picture looks so good! Actually, you make a mistake. The teapot should be under the teacup.” The young man was puzzle,” You are wrong. If you want to infuse tea into teacup, the teacup should be under the teapot! ”

The abbot said,” You don’t understand me. If you place the teacup higher than the teapot, you can not infuse tea into the teapot, namely, if you want to lean to famous drawers, you should be unobtrusive, just like place your cup on a low position. ”

Job Interview (10/9)

Due to LXK projects will EOL in our company on this Oct, many colleagues have to find new position, I got the interview info from our HR department this morning. There have a Customer Service officer position at B17, and interview time is 3:00PM, I have to prepare my resume and adjust my mood to attend this interview. I don’t know this position whether it’s suitable me, but anyway, I will try my best. When I arrived at B17 office, HR guy reception me and wait a moment, because this boss’s very busy. She’s review my resume and ask me some questions about my current job, showing the build plan report to me, due to the project is Dell project, it’s easy for me, Because I knew all of Dell products and very clear CS shipment process, I feeling she is satisfied with the answers, then I finished this interview. After one day, I got the phone from HR guy, I passed the interview, but I rejected this offer, because I don’t want to do the same projects, choose good boss and job direction is very important, I have to think about a lot of things. I hope my decision is correct. Just do it……. you will get more……

Today is Chongyang Festival, it's cool this morning, and the weather still drop, I have to wear of long-shirt.

In the Guangdong, I found the local of people like climb the mountains very much, I didn't take part in the special activity today, I have to work.However, I can sense the pleasant atmosphere that people are enjoying.

National holiday(10/1)

Today is the National holiday, many people going outside, By the time the bus came so many people were waiting that it was a free fight to get on it. Fortunately, the community has free of the bus to Zhuhai, after lunch, my mother and I go to supermarket buy some food together.

When we reached the Zhuhai, the shops was so crowded that so many people buy some food, a lot of fruits looks like so fresh, we bought apples, pears, oranges,grapes, drinks,living goods and so on........it's very happy.

My friend's go to HK buy some things today, what a pity, when he's arrived in HK that cannot get money from HSBC bank, just show around some places, and come back in SZ. He will arrive in ZH tomorrow afternoon, I will pick up him at the JiuZhou port.

Hehe…….My colleague’s call me just now, we will go to drink earyly morning tea by tomorrow morning, I know the local of people like it very much, I never taste it, I wish to go………Wow…… have a nice day!

Holiday

According to our top mangement arrangement, we have 7days for National holiday, since I plan go to Guilin, but due to some issues, I have to stay at Zhuhai.

Today is on the first of the holidays, I will go to bookshop to read some books, there no work pleassure, just relax myself.

Haha…..Maybe my friend will come to Zhuhai, if so, I will prepare some food in advance, then show my friend around the places. Well, enjoying my holiday.

There were two stones side by side on a mountain. One day, No.1 stone said to No.2 stone, “I decide to explore outside rather than stay here, so I can get many experiences.”

“You are crazed!” No.2 stone disagreed with him, “ I can enjoy the beautiful landscape if I stay still here, why do you want to explore?! Maybe you will fall down to pieces because of hardships and dangers!”

But No.1 stone still started its exploration. Though it suffered from so many dangers on the way, such as bad weather, disaster, attack and so on, it never change its mind. No.2 stone laughed at him and still enjoyed the happiness on the mountain. After many years, No.1 stone was found and exhibited in the museum, which was famous as king of stones. So many people praised its beauty. At the moment, No.2 stone was repentant and wanted to take a risk to make a success. At last, it was afraid of the dangers and had to give up.

One day, to keep No.1 stone well, people decided to build a more beautiful museum. So they searched for the suitable materials on the mountain. When they found No.2 stone, they knocked it down to pieces……

Everyone has stress, It's how you handle it that makes all the difference.

We all experience stress over issues relating to our jobs, we wouldn't be human if we didn't. we may feel pressured to get the work done, or worried about losing our jobs. we stew over conflicts and misunderstandings with team members. we might find the work too difficult or not challenging enough.

Besides stress directly related to our jobs, we all come to work with worries and concerns about other aspects of our lives. Difficulties with children, sick parents, tight finances and lack of free time are common problems for working people.

If we deal with stress poorly, we can pay the price in ill health, accidents, inability to concentrate on our work and unhappiness.

Try some of these tips for handing stress, both at work and off the job:

Decide what you can and can't do something about. You can't do much about the economic climate of the world, but you might be able to help your company survive hard times. You don't have much control over whether an ill relative will survive, but you might be able to create a meaningful relationship with the person during your remaining time together.
If there is nothing you can do about a problem, learn to let it go. There is no use getting an ulcer or high blood pressure by worrying about something you can't control.
Speak up. If something is bothering you, talk about it. If someone else is doing something that is disturbing you, let the person know. You don't have to get angry or aggressive----just assert yourself.
Take some quiet time for yourself every day. This isn't easy, but it pays off.Use this time to sort out what is and isn't important, and to look for solutions to problems. Even on the busiest of days, it may be possilbe to get a few minutes alone early in the morning or late at night.
Take some time everyday for fun too. Spending even fifteen minutes a day on a special hobby you enjoy can take it easier to deal with everything else going on in your life.
Take good care of yourself physically. Get enough sleep and rest. Eat a healthy diet of regular meals. Exercise regularly, at least several times a week. Good health habits are an effective defence against stress.
Take control of your life. Learn to stay organized and manage your time. Do the most important things first and leave the rest if you have to. Effective time management can get rid of that stressful feeling of being in a hurry all the time.
Learn to share your worries and concerns. Talking to someone close about your problems may not offer you the solution but would help to ease your load.

So, Stress is a natural part of life, some stress is necessary to provide the incentive to get things done, but excessive stress can be harmful to your health and your work abilities.

Best wishes to my friend

I met my friend yesterday, we haven't meet each other for ten years, what a surprise that he's not any change. he's very success for these years, he will go to Jiangshu this week, just want to see me when he's leave in Shenzhen before, I'm so inspire!

We visited the Zhuhai Yunv and Haibin park, go for dinner.......we talked many things, about the school life, work, family and each plan. many words want to say, but it seems like so paleness. I really pleasure to met my friend, In my heart, wish my friend have a great career and happily family.

Mid-autumn Festival was over, I'm looking forward to National holiday coming, My friend's invited I go to Yantai, ShanDong province, I think I won't to go, althought I like this city,but it's too far,I haven't more time to visite it, what a pity!

On Jan 21st in 1985, the 6th National People's Congress Committee decided that it was Teacher's Day on Sep 10th every year.

In 1932's, Teacher's Day was ever fixed on Jun 6th. After the War of Liberation (1945-49), Teacher's Day was changed to May 1st,which was the same as Labor Day.But there were no any celebrations on Teacher's Day.Thinking about the new term often begins in China on Sep 10th every year,all students should greet their teacher's and study hard.On Sep 10th in 1985, it was the first Teacher's Day. Mid-autumn festival is coming, today I am very happy to receive a ticket of mooncakes from our company, we will get the ticket on every year, then we can take a box of mooncakes, although it’s not delicious, but I think this shows the warm concern from our leaders, at the same time, my friend’s conserve a big box of mooncakes and chocolate to me,that’s very nice for me, I sincerely hope all the people will have a nice festival and enjoy their delicious reunion dinner.

How To Be A Leader At Work

Most organizations have at least one person who is a natural leader. When it is announced she will be leading a new team, employees line up to join. When he asks for a volunteer for an assignment, people jump at the chance. Employees turn to her as a mentor, or look to him as a role model.

Meanwhile, others in the organization are struggling to do their job with too few human resources. So how do natural leaders do it? What is their secret to getting people to go the extra mile for them?

Although many effective leaders are naturally charismatic, there are a number of leadership behaviors that can be adopted by anyone who wants to have greater support from other people. While some leadership techniques may sound manipulative, a wise leader knows the best results come from having people provide their support willingly.

As U.S. President and General Dwight D. Eisenhower defined it:

"Leadership is the art of getting someone to do something you want done because he wants to do it."

People naturally want to follow a good leader. After meeting with an effective leader it is not unusual to feel uplifted, inspired and motivated to work towards a common goal.

Effective leaders make others feel good about themselves as well as the work they are doing. The leader has a vision of what she wants to achieve and can communicate that vision to others in a way that makes people want to be part of it.

One thing a good leader typically does is to communicate the big picture, so that each employee can see how the particular role he plays makes a contribution to the final result.

In a recent study of employees at all levels in companies of all sizes, Beverly Kaye and Sharon Jordan-Evans, authors of Love 'Em or Lose 'Em, found that "meaningful work, making a difference and a contribution" was one of the top three reasons given by 90% of employees when asked why they remain at a company. (The other reasons cited among the top three were "career growth, learning and development" and "exciting work and challenge.")

When someone understands why a job that might otherwise be considered menial is important, that person is likely to be both more committed and more productive.

People are also likely to follow leaders they see as positive role models. If a leader demonstrates a strong belief in something, it inspires others to work towards the leader's vision, even when a situation might appear to be almost hopeless.

An excellent example of a leader who faced this type of situation is Lee Iacocca. When Chrysler's fortunes reached a low in the 1980s, he cut his salary to $1 per year to prove his conviction that things would get better. They did. Under his leadership, the company flourished.

Good leaders not only "walk the walk", they "talk the talk". When they speak about the future, they are positive and upbeat. Mark Victor Hansen, a successful motivational speaker and co-author of the Chicken Soup for the Soul books, said that even in the early days of his career, if someone asked how he was doing he always responded that he was doing fabulously. His enthusiasm won him plenty of supporters who helped make his vision a reality.

Yet some people feel the way to get support from others is by telling them how grim a situation is, hoping that will make them want to help turn things around. On the contrary, Eyesores (those who sound like the gloomy Winnie the Pooh character) may inspire people to start looking for another job, rather than work to improve the situation they are in.

If you have a tendency to be negative, but want to inspire others to support you in achieving a goal, resolve to focus on solutions rather than problems. If Plan A isn't working, avoid bemoaning the situation and instead come up with a Plan B. If necessary, have Plan C waiting in the wings. Maintain a can-do attitude and you are likely to attract people who will support you in achieving your goals.

As well as communicating their vision, good leaders know they need to communicate "what's in it for you" in order to have employees go the extra mile.

They also understand that different people are motivated by different things. For employees motivated by a need for achievement, a leader explains how the task offers an opportunity to take on a challenging but achievable goal.

Those with a desire for power are told how their participation can bring them prestige and lead to greater opportunities. While employees who are motivated by affiliation need to hear how they will be part of a team of people working together.

Effective leaders also use techniques to communicate their belief that each team member is important, including remembering and using people's preferred names (e.g. not "Rick" if someone prefers to be called "Richard"). As Dale Carnegie observed, "the average person is more interested in his or her own name than in all the other names on earth put together." Keys to remembering names include paying attention when introduced to someone, mentally repeating the name and using it in conversation.

Good leaders will introduce employees by name first, rather than job title. They refer to employees as team members, associates, or colleagues - never as "subordinates" - and make no distinction between "essential" and "non-essential" staff or "professional" and "non-professional" staff. Words have power, including the power to make people feel whether or not they are important to the success of an organization.

Good leaders believe that every team member matters and foster an environment that makes everyone feel important. It is no wonder they attract all the support they need to help them achieve their goals.

On the last course, I learned the “Communicating in Your Life”, I got the many knowledge’s from this charter.

l The importance of Communication

Communication skills include the ability to use language accurately---use proper grammar, choose words precisely, and spell correctly. They also include the ability to speak, teach, counsel, debate, and listen. So, whether you realize it or not, your success in life is dependent upon your communication skills.

l The Purposes of Communication

In our life, we all use communication for five basic purposes:

1. to establish and build goodwill

2. to persuade

3. to obtain or share information

4. to establish personal effectiveness

5. to build self-esteem.

If you ask me, which one is the best important? I think I will answer “they are equal”.

l The Communication Process

When you begin to communication the idea, you will use the communication process, it’s including five components:

1) the sender,

2) the message,

3) the receiver,

4) the feedback,

5) the channel.

I know this is very basis, but let me pay attention to communication particular in my current job.

l Communication Media

Usually, we will use Speaking, Writing, Reading & listening in our daily life, which media is most important to your planned careers or in your current jobs? They’re also equal, their importance to your success, how to proper use them, need us to find out.
