I'd like to be the sort of friend that
you have been to me;
I'd like to be the help that
you've been always glad to be;
I'd like to mean as much to you
each minute of the day
As you have meant, old friend of mine,
to me along the way.
I'd like to do the big things and
the splendid things for you,
To brush the gray from out your skies
and leave them only blue;
I'd like to say the kindly things that
I so oft have heard,
And feel that I could rouse your soul
the way that mine you've stirred.
I'd like to give you back the joy
that you have given me,
Yet that were wishing you a need
I hope will never be;
I'd like to make you feel as rich as I,
who travel on
Undaunted in the darkest hours with you to
lean upon.
I'm wishing at this time that I
could but repay
A portion of the gladness that
you've strewn along my way;
And could I have one wish this year,
this only would it be:
I'd like to be the sort of friend
that you have been to me.

i wish i could soar in the air
with no strings attached
fly everywhere
i wish i could fly away from all the sorrows
but i am a bird
trapped in the cage of humanity
lost in a world that doesn't know freedom
kept in a safe that is nowhere near safe
left out in the desert alone
to fight the wolves
they cut my wings and expected me to fly
they hurt me again and again
then looked for my smile
so i ask you
is this the kind of world you want to live in?
will it ever change?
will i ever find my wings?
will i ever soar into freedome?
can you answer those questions?
or are you as lost as i am?
can you tell me
if this world is real??
or is it just a nightmare that i can't wake from?
i wish i was a bird with wings
that can soar in the sky
i wish i was a bird with wings
i wish i could fly

Take time to work,it is a price of success
Take time to think,it is a source of power
Take time to play,it is the secret of perpetual youth
Take time to read,it is the foundation of wisdom
Take time to be friendly,it is the road of happines
Take time to love and to be loved,it is the nourishment of the soul
take time to share,it is too short a life to be selfish
Take time to laugh,it is the music of the heart
Take time to dream,it is hitching your wagon to a star

At night I miss you most of all
When darkness begins to fall,
It's then I reach into my heart
You are there never to depart.
Loving words you have said to me
Remains etched in my memory,
You vow your love so very true
Showing it in all things you do.
I need you in my life every day
To help me along a lonely way,
I must hear love words you say
Or my world will taint to gray.
In my dreams you are with me
In reality you are never to be,
Our deep love is pure and strong
Why then is it so very wrong.
As time passes on without you
My love will still remain true,
I pray for a day we will be free
To share eternal love in reality.

to hate all roses because you got scratched with one thorn
to give up on your dreams because one didn't come true
to lose faith in prayers because one wasn't answered
to give up on your efforts because one of them failed
to condemn all your friends because one betrayed you
not to believe in love because someone wasn't faithful or didn't love you back
to throw away all your chances to be happy because you didn't succeed on the first attempt
I hope that as you go on your way.. You don't give into madness
Remembering always
another chance may come
another friend
a new love
a renewed strenght
Be persistent
Look for happiness every day and everywhere
The sure path to failure is to give up.. It is often through failure that future success comes
Believe in yourself
and
KEEP TRYING
