We are dreaming of tomorrow, and tomorrow isn't coming...
We are dreaming of a glory that we don't really want...
We are dreaming of a new day when the new day's here already...
We are running from the battle when it's one that must be fought...
And still we sleep...
We are listening for the calling but never really heeding...
Hoping for the future when the future's only plans...
Dreaming of the wisdom that we are dodging daily...
Praying for a savior when salvation's in our hands...
And still we sleep...

To the Virgins,
Make Much of Time

Gather ye rosebuds while ye may,
Old time is still a-flying,
And this same flower that smiles today,
To-morrow will be dying.

The glorious lamp of heaven, the sun,
The higher he's a-getting,
The sooner will his race be run,
And nearer he's to setting.

That age is best which is the first,
When youth and blood are warmer;
But being spent, the worse and worst
Times still succeed the former.

Then be not coy, but use your time,
and while ye may, go marry;
For having lost just once your prime,
You may for ever tarry.
