Wow, what a busy week this week was. I didn’t get much rest on the weekend, because I had to work on a video application for a university I want to teach at. I spent about 12 hours working on it. Then of course I had my normal classes on Monday and Tuesday. Tuesday evening I had a meeting with my business partner –we’re developing games for language learning- and then on Wednesday after work I had to finish that video. Work work work!

But the thing that’s really kept me busy is the elections! In the United States we have our presidential election in less than a month. I love politics, and now there is so much to read about every day that I can’t stop. So I’ve stayed up late every night reading about politics. I’m glad there’s only one month left!

^^ you seemed so busy in that week. it is not surprsing that you stayed late to read about politics since you loved it that much.. I wish I love reading! even the thing that makes me interested I can't stay and read long about it!! SO, who do you think will win the election ? ^^

Hi Asuka,

The political system in the United States is very exciting -following the elections is like watching the Olympics for a year, except that it is very serious.

I think the political system in Japan doesn't encourage people to become involved, so it's hard to be interested in it.

I'm interested to see what Prime Minister Aso will try with the new government, though.

What are you writing your economics essay about? I like to write, but I when I was in school I always waited until the last minute to write my essays, so I always got stressed out.

That week i am busy too ,everyday i have to go out ,for fun ,for work ,for life . This week ,i am also busy ,i have to write a essay about economics. I do hope you have a good rest.

I'm going to vote for Obama. There are two groups in the government, the Democrats and the Republicans. Obama is a Democrat, and I like their ideas better. John McCain is a Republican. I think he is also OK, but Obama is better (and he's cool!)
