con men in taiwan

Do you have any experience of facing con men? When you walk on the street, you probably meet someone who has good-looking dress and good manners.He stop you and ask you for a market survey of a certain company. After finishing some ordinary questions, he will ask you(even beg you) if you can leave your name,address and phone number. Then, his company will send a gift to you to thank for doing this survey and you also have a chance to win a big prize. And after few days, your phone rings and tell you that you have won the jackpot from their company, but you need to pay 15% of the jackpot for tax before you get the jackpot back. If you really do what he has said, I think your money will never come back.

This is an ordinary story that happens in taiwan day after day. Inspite everybody knows it is just a scam, there are still some people cheated by con men.

There are many stories about con men in Taiwan. They maybe ask you to donate money for a charity, or pretend a fund raiser to gather money for building a temple. Some con men even run into your company or house for donation about certain kind of reasons. They use your sympathy, curiosity and greed to pull your money out. Pitifully, someone just can't learn lessons from them.

plan to trace the river

Yesterday, my wife and I went to 北埔 to check out the condition of the road and took a look at the environment of the leisure farm called 老頭擺( such a strange name). Because we plan to hold an outdoors teaching there for my school students.

Fortunately, the road to the leisure farm is ok so far, not be damaged by the heavy rainfall during the past few days. But the road is a little narrow, so we must drive very carefully.

Beside the farm, there is a stream, we decide to take a river tracing down the stream. I think students will like this kind of activity. But still need to pray for the God that do not rain next Wednesday.

unforgetable sick experience

Have you ever had chicken pox? For me, it is an unforgetable experience. I got chicken pox when I served in the military about ten years ago. I was infected by others. Because there were several people got chicken pox before me. So, I still remember it was about 5 or 6 including me got this illness at the same time. And we were sent to the military hospital at the same time.

The symptoms came very quickly. At first, I felt dizzy and had a fever. After a night sleep, the poxes started to grow from my head and gradually spreaded to my whole body. The itchy feeling almost drove me crazy.

Despite chicken pox is not a fatal illness, but it still caused lots of pain such as itchy body, fever heat and so on. After one week hospitalization, we went back to the military camp and were forced to stay in a small dormitory for quarantine. After another two weeks, they freed us when we healed this illness.

journey to the center of the earth

Have you ever seen a movie called" journey to the center of the earth"? I saw this movie on HBO channel last Sunday , and it is quiet entertaining. My GVO teacher told me that this movie is based on a classic sci-fi novel by Jules Verne in 1864 and this guy wrote lots of sci-fi novels at that time such as "from the earth to the moon", "around the world in eighty days" and so on..

This movie describe a university professor who believe there are entrances that can go through to the center of the eartrh. So he, his nephew and a beautiful guide start an exciting expedition. They encounter many prehistoric creatures and finally they find the way back to the surface of the earth. His nephew also carry a bag of diamons when they went out from the volcanic mouth.

I think this movie describes the popular thoughts of our interior earth during the 1870s. But we know that it is impossible to have so many prehistoric animals which still live in the interior earth nowadays. However, this kind of sci-fi movies still satisfy many fans who are curious about the center of the earth and I strong believe that it must have its sequel coming soon.

What a terrible typhoon!

What a terrible typhoon! Typhoon Morakot are not only setting a new record of rainfalls in Taiwan , but also ravaging southern part of Taiwan with its heavy flooding and the destruction is still going on now.

My mon told me that there was a horrible typhoon happened fifty years ago and also cause a devastating disaster at that time. But Morakot seems bigger than it. I think it is Taiwan's destiny, everytime when typhoon comes, the following mudslides, rainfalls, landslides and floodings always hit this beautiful island seriously.And the scenes I saw from TV always shock me a lot. Some villages and townships are flooded by heavy rainfalls, the residents have no way out from the flooded areas. And the police officers are stuck in order to rescue people from mountain areas.

I hope everything will be ok and Typhoon Morokot will fly away from Taiwan as soon as possible.

here comes the typhoon

Here comes a typhoon, and we are going to have a day off. Actually, I don't like this kind of day off, because it is quiet boring for me to stay at home all day. But the experiences tell us that sometime a typhoon-based day off means a happy shopping day due to the inaccurate prediction from government. Haha..

Anyway, I finally can spend all day to retreve my e-mail, watch DVD, clean the mass of my bookshelf and surf the net....

The day before yesterday, I saw a girl sitting beside me to learn English at GVO. She is such a beautiful girl that I havn't seen for a long time. With black glasses, long hair and a bookish air around her, I have to admit that she is attractive to me. But what can I do...I got married already. So...mmh..maybe I can make friend with her ..just friend!

Do you do exercise regularly? Some say doing exercise can give you a better health and keep your body a good-looking shape.I think this theory is unquestionable. But it depends on your determination and , of course, how much time you have. As for me, I spend half hour per day to do a jog on my treadmill but it doesn't make me look slimer. At least, it doesn't make me get fatter.

To persevere in doing exercise is a hard work, juat like to keep a diary. When I jog on my treadmill, I always like to turn on the cd player to listen to the music along with my jogging. Because when you focus on listening your favorite music, you may forget the hardship of running. It can help me to last to the final minute.

Do you believe the existance of life elsewhere in the universe? That's a big question! Some people say that God create ecverything, but what it would be if God is an alien as well?

We are still scratching the surface of understanding the universe, so there are lots of questions await us to find the answers. The universe is a very large place with billions of galaxies. And each galaxy contains billions of star systems. So I strongly believe that it must have some earth-like planets that exist on the universe.And some of the earth-like planets must have earth-like conditions to form certain life.

I've been very busy these days.So I can't keep my diary...But I still push my self to finish my routine" writing an article every day online ".

Ever since I attended the GVO lessons, I don't have much free time to visit e-baby, what a shame! Because I regard ebaby as a very interesting place. You can chat with others online, you can create a blog as well.Some people here like some of my friends coming from different countries have different opinions in some controversial issues. I can learn so much invaluable knowledge from them. Thanks guys! Keep up the good work! I am sure we can make something different in the future.

Have you ever heard about a species called "passenger pigeon. In the early 20th century, they were exterminated by human for the reason of being regarded as agricultural pests. It is very cruel that the rise of humans has caused the extinctions of many animal species.

A country wants to develop its agriculture and industry, I think that might has something to pay for. Sometimes leading to a war, sometimes fighting against the nature. Maybe it is an inevitable process, because we need more space to pack the increasing population.And this is always harmful to wildlife.

So I think the most important thing is to learn lessons from the past and find the balance between the development of country and the protection to other species of animals.

Psychopaths are around you

A research shows that about 1% of males and one in every 300 females are born psychopaths. Psychopath is a kind of anti-social personality disorder, patients cannot be diagnosed easily. Because they usually have a good social relationship, they often excel in business or political professions. You maybe feel astonished if he( or she) was caught by police officers, because even you or your friend all consider him as a very good and successful person.

so next time, don't trust your eyes too much. A person who is charming, successful in his career doesn't mean he is a good guy. Have you ever seen a movie called "the silence of the lambs". It really sended chills down my spine as I saw it several years ago.

Those patients are around us all the time and we cannot do anything to prevent ourselves from getting hurt by them because you even don't know when will happen to you. All we can do is to pray to God for help, and wish your neighbors are not psychopaths.

It is a hot summer..

Did everybody notice the weather is getting hotter and hotter. The degrees of today are 35.5 in Taipei. Wow, it's so terrible, we indeed need to face this serious problem of global warming.

How to prevent global warming seems become a prior issue in the world. The leaders of G8 summit has announced a statement of reducing the emission of carbon dioxide. Everybody talk about how to go green, go veggie or go to take a dip...But ironically, we still can see many kinds of advertising encouraging people to equip their house with more air conditioners. We still can see the car producing companies persuade consumers to buy their cars. I am perplexed about them. We talk about how to save our planet and go forward to an opposite direction.

I think people are selfish (including me), we all know that the hot emission of the air condition may cause your city a hot weather, but we still take it for granted by doing it.So..if one day the earth really get a severe crisis from global warming, maybe we deserve it!

The Phantom of the Opera

Last night, I read an article about a well-known musical opera-the phantom of the opera, which will perform in Taiwan once again this year. This musical has run in numerous countries and cities for many years. It attracts people in the world not only its dramatic story but its fantstic music as well.

But it reminds me of some movies which has similar scenarios to the phantom of the opera such as "Beauty and the Beast", "Hunchback of Notre Dame", "the King Kong"..they all focus on a true love between a beautiful woman and a disfigured man( of coures , king kong is not a man...lol).

Definitely, the contrast between beauty and ugly ,love and hate, sacrifice and revenge..are the best sources of films or books to create a remarkable production. Those essential elements cause the movie become more popular than others.

If you have the chance to go abroad for a trip? What country do you like to visit most? For me, my favorite country is Egypt. I ave been dreaming about taking a trip to Egypt since I was a child. A comic book called " the daughter of Nile River" infuence me a lot and start my curiosity about Egypt.

Some people say that if you go to Egypt, you can easily touch the past. In this ancient country, many ruins of Egyptian ancient civilization tell the stories of Egyptian prosperity.There are many pyramids and ancient tombs lurking in the desert and await you making an exciting adventure.

The giant sculptures, the Nile River, the Giza Pyramids. etc...I think it is time for me to take a trip to Egypt.

The global village organization

I started to study English at Global Village Organization this morning.It is a new and well-designed building in Chupei near my house. The facilities inside this building are also comfortable to me. This was my first time to study English at school since I graduated from university 12 years ago.

The teacher, named Bowfred( I don't know for sure, because he didn't want to tell us how to spell it.), is a humorous guy. He did his best to keep the atmosphere more funny and boisterous. But most of the time, students in this class were silent. I think people in Taiwan are very shy. On the other hand, if you want to improve your English, oral practice is an important part of learning. So..stop shying, you can learn English well, it is just a matter of time.

Today's topic is about a kind of genetic disease called NF. It can cause individuals to grow tumors inside their body. Once you have tumors on your spinal cord, you might be paralyzed for good. What a terrible disease! I hope scientists can find how to cure this disease as soon as possible. Then the patients will not suffer from it any more.

A grateful heart to god

What do you think about worshipping a god? Some people may think that is a kind of superstition, but others regard it as a way to find the peace of their soul. Anyway, worshipping a god has become an essential religious ritual that deeply exist in Taiwan society.

What is your god? Budda, Jesus, Mohammed, spiderman or Hulk? Generally speaking,many people in Taiwan worship Budda and some historic heros. They burn incense to show their respect and usually offer meat, fruit or fish in front of those gods' sculptures. If someone's wish has come true, they might donate a lot of money to show their gratitude.

Actually, I don't agree such a way to respect your god. But believing in a god definitely can help us find peace and calm our soul especially when you are in trouble. Furthermore, a man who has faith in his god seldom do harm to others. So.....what is your opinion about worshipping your god?

Taiwanese opera

Have you ever seen this kind of performance before? It is Taiwanese opera, a traditional art, which has been popular and widespread in Taiwan for hundred years.

I still remember when I was a little boy, my mother brought me to see the performance very often. Especially in some annual festival such as Chinese lunnar new year, a certain deity's birthday, mid-autumn festival or lantern festival, people gathered around the temple to see this excellent performance.So it played an important role when there was a temple fair took place.

Actors and actresses must put on ancient costume and headgear. And the performance consist of singing songs, reciting lines and doing special body movements. But as the time passes by, the popularity of Taiwanese opera seems diminish gradually. It was replaced by fashion dancers. But I still hope this type of traditional artistic performance can last forever.

I used to smoke a lot when I served my duty in the military ten years ago. In order to get along with others ,I had to smoke like other people do at that time. Smoking was an effecient method to communicate with others even thought it is harmful to your health.

Now I have already quitted this bad habbit for several years. What I regard as the most important reason to help me quit smoking is my family. My mon and my wife are non-smokers.I still remember at the period of time after I got married , I still smoke a lot. They had to tolorate the bad smelling and bad breath came out from my mouth. And the house was full of smoky air when I was smoking. But they never complained about this to me. I think it was because they love me. They not only had to put up with the bad smelling, but also endured secondhand smoking. Finally, I knew I was wrong and stopped smoking immediately.

Nowadays, the price of cigarette is geting higher and higher. Smoking is not only bad for your health, but also is a waste of money.

what a terrible flu

I got a flu...and it makes me feel very uncomfortable.

Three days ago, when I woke up in the morning, I felt a little dizzy. At the begining, I thought that might be the reason of insomnia. So I didn't pay too much attention to it. But I started feeling itchy on my throat and had a bad cough.Afterward, my nose started running and had a sorethroat. Then I knew I got a flu.

Althought I really didn't like to see a doctor, but the uncomfortable feeling almost drove me crazy.So I thought it was inevitable for me to see a doctor and take some medicine to alleviate my painful symptons.

I wish I could never get sick again.

Japanese food

Japanese food is becoming more popular in Taiwan. The tasty food has conquered the hearts of Taiwanese, nowadays, we can see many Japanese food restaurants popping up everywhere in Taiwan. But if we talking about the high-quality Japanese food, "Le Wei Ting Japanese Food Restaurant" is my best choice. I like their home-made sushi and sashimi very much. A piece of sushi is just the right size for me to eat in one bite. And the miso soup is really a good appetizer for me. The impressive customer sevice also serves me very well.

But how come the price is so high? I don't get it.. maybe it's because the foods are so-called "home-made".and it takes time to create those delicious foods. Anyway, I like the taste of Japanese food. It is not too greasy and spicy.When the sashimi get into your mouth, the exciting and fresh feeling is beyond description.

Taiwan's snack stands

There is a nightmarket near my house on every Sunday night. I always spend my leisure time hanging around there with my wife. There are many kinds of snacks we can buy from this nightmarket.

A combination of deep-fried tofu and pearl milk tea is my absolute favorite. I like the feeling of chewing pearls which are made of cornstarch. It is a little like chewing soft candy. With the mix of good-smelling milk in it, makes this tea taste fantastic.

I also crazy about Taiwanese meatballs, oyster omelets and red bean cakes. Those snacks satisfy my appetite but don't make me feel over-stuffed. I can't help myself buying many of them to fulfill my desire. Oh,God...I need to do some exercises now!

Is our society safe enough?

The public safety of Taiwan society seems get worst in recent time. Two weeks ago, a man who had simply taken a stroll with his girlfriend in the midnight killed by joy-riding gangs in Hsinchu county. Everybody wondered how can a teenager kill a person only for the reason of staring him a glimpse. THe emotion control need to be reeducated for those teenagers.

It is summer time again, more and more teenagers like to get together and play late at night. That may increase the amount of crimes and violence . We all know that the government is trying to do something to decrease the criminal rate, but I think the best way we can do now is to be more careful than before when we go out. Everyone must learn how to protect themselves during this hard time.

Can a man know his fate previously ? Lisa Marie Presley, the ex-wife of Michael Jackson and the daughter of Elvis, said that Michael had already known his death 14 years ago. But I don't believe it, because if it is true,why Michael still plan to perform his final curtain call on July, 2009? Maybe they want to add more weird events into this international news.

It is very common to see a fortune teller bragging about his predictions of certain things in Taiwan. But if we take a closer look at what he alleged " prediction", they always came out after the thing had happened.

Maybe it is true that :God had already arranged everything properly when a man was born. that means everything occurs for reasons. But he won't tell you what the next thing will happen in the next second. So enjoy your life and cherish what you have now.

When I woke up and turned on TV this morning, I was stunned by a shocking news--Michael Jackson passed away hours ago....God...I wish it was not true. But the news was "confirmed."

I remember when I was a junior high school student, Michael's popular songs like " I'll be there, heal the world, beat it, I just can't stop loving you...those great songs accompanied me through many hard-studying nights. Once we held a birthday party at my 16, my classmates played Michael and danced his unique dancing steps to make fun of me. The funny scenes are still surrounding in my brain.

"Heal the world", a very meaningful song sung by Michael, is my favorite one. My English teacher taught us this song when I was an undergraduate.

There are so many memories that pop up from my mind...

He is really " the King of Pop."

How alternative energy work

As the growth of population rises rapidly during the past few decades, the consumption of natural energies such as oil, coal and natural gas increases sharply as well. The demands of energies of some developing countries like China, India, Brazil also enlarge the consumption of natural resource. If we do not deal with this problem properly,we, humand will definitely face a severe disaster in the future.

Can you imagine one day, the natural resources are out of stock.How panic we will be! No fuel to power a car, no gas to cook a meal, no electricity to light the house..etc.

Using alternative energies in place of fossil fuels has become a major concern for most of the countries in the world.Solar power, wind power, geothermal...etc,they are clean and safe for our environment. But how to store the power from them is still a problem. If using alternative energies can be widespread, we certainly can reduce the reliance on fossil fuels. Meanwhile, we can prevent our planet from resource exhausted.

recruit new students

Time passes by so fast, we are now at the end of the semester of the elementary school.It always makes me feel sad when graduates leave for another stage of their life. But for them, it is a new journey to explore the invaluable treasure of knowledge in the world.

Meanwhile, the busiest month of this year for us are coming. Because we are now getting into the thick of the fatal moment -----recruiting new students.

As the result of the global financial crisis, the amount of students has declined as compared to previous year especially during the past six months. Luckly, many new students have made reservations for the next semester's courses. Has it shown the sign of recovery? I hope so...

In order to make our company more competitive. We will pack a variety of summer activities into our summer camp this year. We are planning to bring kids to an interesting playground once a week.But I can imagine how exhausted we will be at that time.

The birth rate of Taiwan decreased sharply for the past few years. It means we have to face the difficulty of recruitng students. I think we can get through this problem, because we have won the trust from parents.

dream came true

Yesterday, when I was surfing the net, I accidentally found a blog. This blog belongs to my old friend "阿千". We haven't seen each other after I did my millitary service about 12 years ago. I am so happy for him, because his first music album had been released in 2008. Congratulation, his dream has come true...but what about the other friends, what a curel world......

It reminds me of those happy days when I was an undergraduate. We played music , made lots of friends, gathered together to eat at that time...They held their dreams in their arms with great passion ,mostly, they wanted to be a famous singer.Now, Some of them has reached out their dreams, like 吳梵, 阿千, yuming ,tank.., but others such as me-- choose another way to live our life. But the passion of music is still inside my heart.

I am impressed about their courages they have to keep forward on this hard path and never look back. But for me, I have already given up!

There is a new-opened restaurant near my house. Sometimes, when I drove my car passing by the restaurant, it seemed have a full house during the dinnertime. I think it must be a fantastic restaurant that can attract so many people to visit.

So ..three days ago, I made a reservation in this restaurant and try to find out what makes it so popular.

It is an all-you-can-eat restaurant .You can eat all the food they offered such as fruits, beverages, salads, desserts, vegetables, meats, fishes,….etc.And the main course is barbecue, but you have to roast them by yourself.

I think the most attractive feature is--beers are offering unlimited. For most men in the world, that is a big news. No wonder, it is always a full house.

I think the boss must make a lot of money from it. But for my point of view, I bet that there will be two or three restaurants like this one openning in recent days. Because people in Taiwan always like to imitate the fast way to earn money.

But, comparatively speaking, do they really earn money quickly just like this restaurant does? I wonder…..

Yesterday, I saw a news from CNN about a woman who was fined $1.9 million for illegally download 24 songs from the internet.And the price of each song sold in the net was 99 cents ,I think she has learned his lesson from it.

But how can the jury senteneced such a ridiculous judgement!I wondered whether this "mon" can afford the fine!

With the convenience the internet had brought us, we have more and more way to get what we want. But for some people," intellectual property rights" are still out of their consideration.

In order to create an invention, the creators spent a lot of time and money to accomplish their goal. During this process, they tolerated many hardships, gathered experts on it and finally promoted this product on TV or radio programs. So if you consider how many energy and people work together to make it sucess and present these products in front of you. You probably may pull out your wallet and pay for it.

If someone ask me what will I do when I grow old, I definitely will give him this answer:" Be a farmer!" But why/

I have standed the fast pace of life in the city for quiet a few years. The air pollution , noisy crowd, traffic jam, the way of social interaction,......etc. I don't want to live in the same scenario for the rest of my life.

I often dream about the beautiful scene: getting up in the morning when the sun comes out from the mountain, doing exercise with the fresh air, planting my favorite fruits in my gardon, taking a stroll around the countryside.....

Follow the nature, we can find ourselves inside your heart....

Several years ago, two young girls went to a fairy-tale-like hill to chase their dream. They vowed to build a cottage surrounded by lavender fields, blue sky, green grasses and magnificent mountains.So they gave up their teaching career and started to reach for their dream. “There is a dream, there is a way.” They finally made their dream come true. “Lavender Cottage” , located on a beautiful mountain village in the Hsinchu County, Taiwan, has become a famous resort for people to visit. Last month, I drove to the lavender cottage with my wife. The heavy traffic almost drove us crazy. But in order to see the beautiful scenery in person, this might be the price you need to pay. When we got there, the stunning view rewarded us for the traffic jam we had experienced before. It reminded me of a song called “Hotel California”. Ya, I wish I could live there forever to enjoy the blue sky , the singing birds and the smell of lavender.

My two good friends, Hsuan and Zueen, came to see me from Chungli at abot 12:30 pm this afternoon. It is about two and a half months I haven't seen them after they resign the job from Liberal Folk Song Restaurant. So we did have lots of gossips to chat about.

After they got off the train, I brought them to a Thai-food restaurant to have our lunch. the restaurant looked very beautiful and luxurious ,so we thought that it might cost us an arm and a leg when we had finished the meal. On the contrary, the price of the food on the menu were reasonable.We were very impressed by its excellent costomer service and the food were also delicious.

Afterward, I drove them to my home and enjoyed fruits I prepared before.Then we talked about work and recent lifefor a while. They left at about 4:00pm and promised me to come again some other day.

It is always good to meet old friends when you feel lonely in your daily life.

Last night, I made a solo performance at a private pub near Chichu Educational University. I played keyboard and sang some old English pop songs and I really enjoyed on it.

They held this party for celebrated the birthday of their friends belonged for a groups of scuba-diving enthusiasts.They were all very nice to me.

When I started to perform,I realized that they were not only scuba-diving enthusiasts ,but also music enthusiasts. One of them jumped up the stage and played guitar with me, another man grabbed a microphone singing along with me .We really had a very good time last night.

When I finish the performance, they gave me five grand as my salary and it was more than we consulted before .

It is always good to play music with someone who likes music as you do.

The most renowned news during the past few months is definately the pandemic disease" swine flu"( we call it "new influenza" in Taiwan.) It is so contagious that almost eighty countries in the world has already found the confirmed cases.

But " Is it so horrible that makes our world so panic?" Maybe the answer is negative. A recent study found that swine flu is not as vital as many people think. Patients can be cured under a good treatment. The symptons of swine flu are almost the same as the other kinds of flu.

So , don't panic! Make sure you have wash your hands before you eat food.Avoid to expose yourself in the public place if possible.Stop shake hands with others. These tips maybe can keep you safe from swine flu.

music industry in Taiwan is dying

It is really a hardship to keep a music company alive in Taiwan. Not only for the recession to global economy, but also for the development of internet.

Wu Fan, a friend of mine, is a famous composer in Taiwan. He compose many pop songs such as “練舞功” by Jeannie(謝金燕)、不甘心不放手 by Power station (動力火車)、感謝無情人by 黃乙玲、愛到無路不知驚 by Jason Wang(王識賢).

"The music industry in Taiwan is dying.” he said last month. "People had changed their way to grab music. "He continued.

"We got nothing from the music company because the interest of selling music records is rare."

"They rather download mp3 from the net than pull out their wallets to buy a record. And that really hurt them badly.”

If someone ask me about what can support a company alive. Undoubtedly, it’s all about money. Without money, they can do nothing.

How to solve this problem is anyone’s guess. Maybe the government should do something about it. Passing laws to punish those who sell pirate edition records and download illegally copied music from Internet…..

What can consumers do? Follow the user pay principle, maybe, we still can hear good music from the singer you admire for the years to come.

what a lazy pig!

Everyone has good and bad habits ,so does I.But is that true "bad habits,die hard"?

Obviously,it is true.We cultivate a bad habit without trying,but it takes a lot of time to develop a good habit.

I always gets up late in the morning. Maybe it's because I don't need to get up early for work. I still try hard to get rid of this "bad habit".But what a shame, I failed in every single try.My goodness,what a lazy pig I am!

Maybe I should make a list of the advantages of getting up early and read it before my bedtime every day.

But...another question comes to my mind.....what's the advantage of getting up early?

My sweet pen pal

Tracy is my pen pal. She lives in Kaohsung.I has been in correspondence with her for several months. Sometimes we chatted on the internet ,sometimes we talked on the phone. But we did not see each other untill yesterday.

Three days ago, I got a phone call from Tracy.She asked me that if I could go to Kaohsung to meet her in person. Of course I did, I had been looking forward to visit her for a long time.So I went to Kaohsung alone by train yesterday and meet her at a restaurant for the first time.

Tracy is really a nice person .she has big eyes and charming smile. She is also conversational and we talked about many topics untill 8:00 at the night.

I think I got a good friend again. And I will cherish the friendship between Tracy and I.

I like children.They are always innocent and lovely.

But I don't have a child of my own. What a pity!

Every time when I hold them in my arms, I feel a little sad in my mind. How strange feeling.

Some friends of mine suggest me to adopt a child, but why do I do this...

Hundreds of children surround me every day , and I am the king of my kindergarten.

It has been 10 years since I got married with Amy.Although we have no children ,We still love each other deeply no matter what will happen to us .

Today I read an article mentioned about the global warming and the increasing of the emission of carbon dioxide.They are really harmful to our environment.They may cause abnormal climate and meltdown the icebergs which can adjust the temperature of the earth.

But I was wondering who is the "major" killer for all those disasters? Undoubtedly,the United States, consuming 1/4 amount of petroleum and the largest groups of car owners.Next time, when they blame other country for the ignorance of saving our planet,they really should reflect themselves on what they do to our planet.

Through the high-tech inventions, many products in the world such as cars,electronic equipments, even houses are more and more eco-friendly.people start thinking about how to regenerate natural resource and protect them.we all hve the responsibility to do it well.Thus, we can get along with our planet and follow God's guidance wuth peace and joy.
