about two weeks ago,the Chinese government finnally took measure to command the supermarkets to stop providing plastic bags to the customers free. So nowadays if we want to get a bag from the supermarket, we should pay 20 cents per bag,otherwise,without taking bag with ourselves,we have to take everything in our own hand back home which appearently is very very unconvenient. Before the proposal being put into practise, there were little warning about it. So I still remembered that day I went to a nearby supermarket and took many things to the cash desk only to be told that I had to took all these things without a bag if I didn't pay money for a bag. we need time to get used to this situation. But I think the Chinese government didn't do a good job on this thing. Maybe we should follow France.nowadays the French supermarkets als don't provide plastic bags to their customers. Several years ago, then the supermarkets are allowed to provide plastic bags while realizing that plastic stuff really did harm to our environment. So the supermarkets printed some words on every bags to the customers like"please care our earth and bring your own bags." The french government also shot some charity advertisment took some other measures to encourage the citizens to bring their own bags to the supermarkets. As time went, Frenches were used to taking bags to the malls and supermarkets by themselves. Then French government found that it was right time to take measure to command the suermarkets to stop providing plastic bags to the customers and the customers were not very suprised to it. Every thing was fine and went smoothly.

In the field of public service, some developed coutries really do a great job which can be set as the example to others. So everytime we want to take some measures, we should consider whether it is scientific and humanistic. and it is actually a good way by following some good examples.In many cases,there are many other countries taking measures in the similar fields before us but their measures seem to be very different. Some turn out to be sccessful but some failure. So we can compare them and study why some are so sccessful,what are their advantage and how they make differences on people's life. Then we can take some measures similar with them and have a good effect in our society.

But there are also some other facts in China. China has the biggest population on the earth and the situations in different places are totally different. So it must be very very expensive to generally educate the citizens to realize somethings.There are 23 provinces and 4 municipalities in China. The situations in differnet areas are very different. In the field of public education,Chinese government have to take very different measures. In these areas, Internet would be perfect, and in those areas, TV advertisment maybe fine , and in several other areas, it is hard to find out a proper solution. the diversity of course can make it at high expense.

So it is very tough to carry out a perfect proposal in China. And it seems that every time the government make a decision,he would encounter countless problems because it is really hard to satisfy 1.3 billions people at the same time.

internet,good or bad?

   I get three days off because of the Chinese traditional day,
Dragon Boat Festival.And in these days,it rains heavily outside
so I spend all of my time on the internet,writting articles,
searching study related materials and chatting with my good
friends through the internet. It could be a leisure time for
me because I needn't deal with the a mass of homeworks and
the boring courses.But oppositely I feel very tired and sleepy
after sitting in front of the computer and google lots of
information all the day. I don't know why.It should be enjoyable,
isn't it? During the weekdays,I always dream of the time when
I can search online without any time limit.
   I begin to wonder the answer for this question. Maybe we are
not born to the internet although nowadays we are used to
living on the internet.we communicate with others through
MSN or Skype,we buy things on the websites and even we get
married with someone we meet on the social web. But we should
know that the nature of human beings are somehow against
internet and other kinds of machines.That is why we need
go outside to breathe the fresh air and take exercise with
our friends.And that is why we are always eagering to going
outside to appreciate the beautiful landscape and our lover
than other only sitting by computer and watching the vedioes.
    Our life is for the natural world outside.
    However,on the hand,we have to accept a reality that we
can't live without internet any more.The computers are not
a simple machine any more,it have become a very important
part in our life.we have put so much things on it and it is
a carrier of our passion and emotion. For example,I meet so
many friends in englishbaby and we exchage our MSN adress or
other contact. If I don't chat with my friends throughout
the days,I would be mad of course.And internet have become
my best way to study english and learn the international culture.
I have to say that I love internet very much and I learn so much
things on it.But I should also spend more time to go outside
to see what happen in the reality.

PPT's not a good thing

PPT's not a good thing

Microsoft is absolutely a excellent company.Its inventions and products make our life much more convenient than before.The Windows system,the MS office.We can't simply live without its products. But in my eyes,one of MS's products is so terrible to us. It is Power Point. So please let me ask you a question,in your calssrooms or meeting rooms,do the teachers or the orator give speeches with PPTs behid them and do the contents in the PPTs attract you? Please give me the honest answer.

OK,at least in my eyes,most of the speeches with PPTs turn out to be failure.In my classes,my teacher use the PPTs to teach students and almost write nothing on the blackboard throughout the classes. His courses turn out to be boring and little students listen to him because the formulas and the words in the PPTs just can't attract the students' eyes. The classes aren't totally active and we students just stare at the PPTs and our brains are blank.

In human's history,there were lots of famous public speeches but almost none of them was with PPTs. The orator himself should be to focus but not the contents in PPTs. He or she should use their enthusiasm,their passion and sometimes their humour to attract the audiences instead force the audiences pay attention on the plain and boring PPTs.

Maybe you would say that nowadays the orators can't give speeches without PPTs behind them because they can help the orators much more easily to make themselves understood. In some ways,it is true.So we should begin the consider a question that what we can post in the PPTs and what we shouldn't. As to this question.My suggestion is we can post some necessary pictures in the PPTs but we should delete the long-winded descriptions and comments which can simply destroy your performences.

In a successful speech,the orator must be who can successfully make himself attracted and make the performence interactive.

I like business very much.although I know that maybe it is not very appropriate to write something about business here,tonight I really want to write something. 7 days multiple hotels are very popular in China because it cost every customer not very much but offer them good quality living condition.Unlike other hotels whose target is the rich people who always want to waste a lot of money(maybe it is not the case) to enjoy a sort of leisure life,7 days multiple hotels focus on the huge amount of ordinary customers.Most of the target customers are businessmen who are always outside for evection and they just hope to spend one or two relatively comfortable nights outside.They don't care about that whether there are lots of leisurable acticities in the hotels.What they are really concern about is a clean and comfortable living rooms although the rooms may be not that large.7 days multiple hotels find this kind of people's real need than they began to design a place suitable to these people. The rooms in 7 days multiple hotels are not very big and the windows are smaller than other places.These two measures can help the hotels save energy because the air conditions won't comsuem too much energy. And the business mode in every hotel is standarded so it is very easy to be copied to another new 7 days hotel which can also cut down cost.On the other hand,7 days hotels provide very customers the same breakfast in the morning.May be you would say that they offer so little choice to the customers.But you should know that they offer this kind of breakfast according to lots of food experts' scientific adivices.Yes,the breakfast is very heathy.So maybe you would ask me why they want to offer just one kind of breakfast.That is a good question,it is another way to cut down cost. In many other hotels,they offer buffet dinners to the clients.But the reality is every one have different taste.So it is hard for the hotels to consider about which kinds of food are popular and healthy and which kinds of foods people don't like.As the result,lots of kinds of food they offer can't attract any customers so they waste lots of money on it. They can provide a scientific solution.So 7 days multiple hotel decide to offer only one scientific and healthy breakfast. In addition,every customer can book a room through the internet very easily.There are lots of other interesting detail in these mutiple hotels and all these measures help the hotels save money and cost customers much less money than other hotels. That is a really successful business mode nowadays.

a story in the earthquake

several weeks ago.an terrible disaster happened in central China in Sichuang province.Near 70 thousands people lost their lives in the 8.0 magnitude earthquake.the disaster shook everyone throughout China.one of the Chinese government leaders said that all the Chinese people who didn't die in the disaster were survivals.He is right becasue we really never know that whether there would be another disaster happening right in our place tomorrow. In this disaster,there were lots of moving stories.I really want to share one of the stories with everyone here. when rescuemen searched the survivals under the rubbles,they found an dead woman whoes gesture was so strange.She bended over with her two palms and two knees on the ground and there was one baby falling asleep just under her. Because of the shelter of its mother,the baby wasn't hurt at all.When the doctors examined the baby,they found a cellphone folded in the quilt with a message in it,"my dear son,when you grow up,you must keep it in mind that I love you forever."

This unusual winter

This winter is very special for China. Terrible snow disasters hit the southern China and cause huge damage to Chinese people. Parts of electrical power grid were destroyed so that railway system and other transport system counldn’t work . What’s worse, Spring Festival is coming , most of Chinese people hurry to go back home to celebrate it with their families. Unfortunately, millions of them are stranded in the railway staions or on the way home . Most of them can’t reach home by this Chinese lunar new year. Some electrician died fixing the snow-damage power grid. Everything seems to be terrible in this special winter.

But from the disaster, we relearn the importance of Spring Festival, the Chinese lunar new year. It is no doubt that Spring Festival and it’s Eve mean a lot for us Chinese. During the festival, the whole family would get together to have dinner and hold some other significant activities. For many family, it may be the only chance for them to do these happy things together thoughout the whole year. But now, many Chinese have to celebrate it by themselves outside their hometown and for the poor passengers who are still stranded on the way home, the new year day just is another cold and terrible day. However, I think next year, they will treasure this festival much more than before.

Tomorrow is the lunar new year’s Eve. Fortunately, in our living area, sun have appeared finally and everything seems to turn well. I just hope that we will be happy in Spring Festival and don’t take the love from our relatives for granted any more. The 2008 Olympic Game will also be held next year and I really hope that sunshine will brighten our motherland forever.
